According to the certification information, the Samsung Z Fold7 is equipped with two batteries, 2126mAh and 2146mAh, for a total battery capacity of 4272mAh. Samsung is expected to label it as a typical capacity of 4400mAh, which means that the battery capacity of the Fold7 will remain the same as its predecessor, the Z Fold5, with no increase. It is worth mentioning that the battery capacity of the Fold3 is also 4400mAh, while the Fold2 is slightly larger at 4500mAh. As for the Samsung Z Flip7, the phone’s battery configuration has been slightly improved. It comes with two batteries, 1189mAh and 2985mAh, for a total battery capacity of 4174mAh, which is expected to be advertised as a typical capacity of 4300mAh. This is a 300mAh increase from the Flip6’s 4000mAh battery capacity, which is not a huge improvement, but it is still an improvement worth paying attention to for users, which means that the Flip7 may have a slight improvement in battery life.
However, despite some tweaks to Samsung’s battery capacity, the charging speed of the Samsung Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 has unfortunately not been significantly improved.
