In order to solve these problems once and for all, Apple plans to rebuild Siri from scratch in iOS 19, fully integrating traditional and modern processing architectures. According to people familiar with the matter, the new Siri architecture is expected to debut at WWDC in June this year, and is scheduled to officially launch with iOS 19.4 in the spring of 2026. This means that the old Siri system that has plagued users for years will officially become a thing of the past.

Mike Rockwell, head of Vision Pro, took over the Siri project and is using his backbone of the Vision Pro team to restructure the voice assistant division across multiple areas such as voice, comprehension, performance, and user experience.
